Navigating Change with Confidence: “Change Cycle” Training with Lilly Brock

Catch Up & Read recently hosted an informative evening “Change Cycle” training session for Dallas ISD principals and Executive Directors at Communities Foundation of Texas.

Led by Lilly Brock—author of The Change Cycle® Book—this workshop explored the six stages of organizational change, offering leaders a solid framework to support their campuses effectively.

As noted in the book, “Leaders can create an environment where people feel safe, supported, and motivated to embrace transformation.” Throughout the workshop, participants shared real-life challenges, discussed potential solutions, and walked away with practical strategies to implement right away.

Held after school hours, the evening format allowed principals and Executive Directors to fully immerse themselves in the training and participate in dynamic group activities tailored to the unique demands of school administration. By strengthening their ability to lead during transitions, Catch Up & Read furthers its mission of improving literacy outcomes for students across Dallas ISD. When school leaders have the tools and confidence to guide change, the positive ripple effects reach every student, teacher, and family in the community.
